My wife typically purchases the majority of the Christmas gifts for the boys. I try to take off one day of work prior to Christmas to shop for the kids. Has your wife called you just as you had gotten to work, telling you that her car would not start because her car battery was dead? Most of the time one of the kids left an interior light on overnight which caused her car battery to run out of juice.
